It's the Journey, not the Destination
This is an affectionate look at the cruise business, concept and history. I have seen the old stories such as 'An Affair to Remember,' but I had no idea that the idea of cruising went back as far as the 1890's. Nor did I have any idea about the size of the business today. These huge ships remind me of nothing so much as Las Vegas casinos or some of the modern resort hotels. The cruise, like life itself, becomes a journey, not a destination.

old, classic, useful
Antill and Woodhead clearly expose the step-by-step development of PERT/CPM in a way that the technique can be easily understood. Classic examples such as the construction of Sidney Opera House highlight the applicability. The chapter devoted to acceleration is a must.

A fellow golf course architect makes comments.
Mike Hurdzan's Golf Greens is not an easy read straight through from cover to cover because it is highly technical.But I did it and I'm glad.It searches the subject in far greater depth of detail and pictorially than anyone has ever done before. Great coverage!And it doesn't always simply "sell the conventional line". Disappointing
This book was disappointing to me. It does not cover Twisted fundamentals very well or comprehensively, but is rather a collection of few large code-examples and verbose commentary. For an introductory (or 'essentials' as the title state) material to Twisted, you are better off with the online manuals.

I like going out to the ballpark and looking at the ballpark itself. I like finding the stats about it. What things there are to do. And how it was designed. This book gave me wonderful ideas on how to design my own stadium. I recomend this book to anyone.
