Collection of facts on airports around the world
Very well written text book, that has a collection of facts on various airports around the world. Mainly directed to students and professors in Europe and other countries where metric is a standard. I wish the authors have published two versions, one in feet-inches and other in metric. It is a good text for teachers in the undergraduate class, for teaching the basic concept of an airport system and how to manage and operate it. Reference to FAA and ICAO documents is good. I will recommend this text to practicing engineers who can get a grip on the concept of financial management and control in an airport system.

Aviation Managers must read...
Mr. de Neufville and Professor Amedeo Odoni have produced a must read guide to understand where the nexus of theory and the reality of aviation systems come together. Quite thorough and a good read, all the while being an excellent guide to a multitude of topics. Well Done!

Call this book Release 2.0!It's a fine upgrade from Prof. Burgunder's prior release. Stay Current on Technology & The Law!
A splendid piece of work!It is timely and up-to-date with all the most recent & important technological law issues, including the Internet.It contains sophisticated analysis, but in an easy-to-read style.I particularly liked how the Internet is treated in the context of associatedtechnology issues, rather than segregated as a separate unrelated universe. A big plus is the web site connected to the book where Burgunder providesupdates about current issues --- such as Napster, Internetlinking, and the antitrust case against Microsoft.This will keep thematerial fresh for years to come!I recommend this book to anyone whowants to learn about technology law.It's a winner!

I bought this book because it was the most recent publication purporting to explain technology law.Although I thought the price was a little high, I sure got more than my money's worth.This book really covers the mostimportant and interesting topics in technology law, and it does soextremely well.Biotech, Internet patents, privacy, obscenity, copyrights,trade secrets, click-wraps, domain names, design protection, strategies forcomputer programs, the Microsoft Antitrust case-you name it and this bookhas got it.The book also deals with international matters, such as theWTO, and international strategic considerations.The court case examplesare well selected, and the editing is superb.They are not to short to betrivial, but not to long either.I also visited the Web site mentioned onthe back cover.It already has a bunch of helpful updates, including theNapster and DVD encryption (DeCSS) debates, among many others.This reallyis a great book.I recommend it highly. ... Good but could be better
Author has huge experience in construction industry, but I expected something like a guideline - simple in structure, focused on essence. Topics are covered with plenty of words, could be simpler. However generally it is worth having this book.

unless your donald trump
i wouldn't waste your money on this book. The only way i can describe it is useless. Unless you plan on starting a donald trump sized electrical business with 500 employees. This book is all about running a huge business and has about one reference to the electrical field in it. Anyone starting an electrical contracting business isn't gonna start anywhere within the scope of this book.

A 'must have' book!
I fully recommend this book for any new user of P3. I considered it as a "must have" title.

Not so hot
This book and the reviews I had read about it made it sound like a stand-alone guide to Project Planner.I found it to be inconsistent in its presentation, ranging anywhere from speaking to a infant in the computerworld to assuming I already knew what I was doing.The detail in it'sinstruction was just not what it appeared to be, and that hurt my overallrating of the book.If you have the book right next to you and you'vealready gone through the tutorial, then you've got a fighting chance to getthrough this book without wasting your money or your time.

Excellent!
This book provides an overview of the scheduling process first.Then, the author starts to tie P3 into puzzle.The end result is that you have resource that you can read from start to finish, and also use it as areference once you have finished reading the book.The author also toucheson many of the advanced capabilities of P3.I am somewhat biased towardthis book.The author is the one who actually taught me how to use P3while developing this book.He teaches a class on scheduling at TexasA&M University.I am currently recommending my coworkers who areinvolved in scheduling to read this book.I would highly recommend it toanyone involved in scheduling with P3 or Suretrak.We have had greatsuccess with teaching our project managers how to use P3 using this book. The first part of the book is usefull for project managers who are notinvolved in P3 "hands-on", but who are involved in projects thatuse P3.It helps the project managers understand the scheduling process. Worthwhile investment for those in CM or GC
I used this book in my CM class as a senior in college.The book is pretty comprehensive and a lot of the info didn't make sense until I actually started in the field of general contracting and construction management.Now the info in the book is understandable.I would recommend the book.

I got the book's info from my college professor.He strongly recommends this book for me as a junior engineer.I found many useful tables and info from book that mostly I also get from job.Mr Barrie is a consultingengineer and he shared his experiences with us, I felt happy what he did.
